I take no joy in writing this post. In fact, it pains me to have say this about some of my fellow Jews. We all know that some Jews supported, and continue to support, Zohran Mamdani, Mayor of New York City. We know that some Jews support Abdul El-Sayed, Democratic candidate for the US Senate in Michigan. There are probably some Jews who even support Ilhan Omar, US Representative from Minnesota. Either these Jews unwittingly, or knowingly, turned on their own people.
Jewish Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told us the reason for supporting El-Sayed - he wants the Democrats to take back the Senate, and assumes he will then be selected as Senate Majority Leader. It is not as if Schumer does not know all the anti-American and anti-Israel and anti-Jewish ideas connected to El-Sayed. He knew about the Nazi SS tattoo sported by Graham Platner, who was running for Senate in Maine. But he supported him anyway, at least until all the allegations of sexual harassment against women came up. Because women, and blacks and Hispanics and gays and every other group, are more important than Jews. If Hitler was running for that seat, would Schumer support him? I'd be afraid to ask him.
Now along comes the Democratic Attorney General of the State of Michigan, Dana Nessel. AG Nessel is Jewish. She recently spoke to the Michigan Democratic Party's Jewish Caucus. She told the Jewish Democrats that they have a "moral imperative to place the needs of the world above our own self-interest." Then this: "It is perhaps up to us now to follow in her (referencing Queen Esther from the Jewish Bible) path and sacrifice the comfort, safety and security and even the very future of our own people in exchange for the opportunity to save the rest of humanity."
First, Queen Esther risked herself in support of the Jewish people - not in an effort to get rid of the Jewish people. Second, it was clear to me that Nessel wanted Jewish Democrats to support El-Sayed so that the Democrats take back the Senate, and can block Trump his last two years in office. Here is how she put it: "What good is defending the historic homeland of our ancestors (Israel) and demanding that candidates acknowledge its right to exist (El-Sayed does not acknowledge Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state) if the planet uopn which it rests is no longer inhabitable." You know, climate change, and whatever other threats she perceives.
As much as I was reluctant to write this post, I think the underlying message is extremely important for all to hear. Here is a Jewish woman willing to see the end of her fellow Jews, why? The clear implication is that as long as Jews exist the world is not safe. As long as Jews exist the world may come to an end. Jews may be singularly responsible for the end of the world if they don't vote for El-Sayed. Hence, the title of this post. There are certain words I don't use in the blog. I could say she is a perfect example, par excellence, of a self-hating Jew. Jews must either support El-Sayed (or what, die?) for the world to continue to exist.
This is sheer lunacy. It is insanity. It is way beyond self-loathing. To be clear, every other group (racial, ethnic, religious) can continue to exist and not threaten the future of the world. Do I have that right? What is wrong with you, AG Nessel? You are seriously sick. You should immediately seek counseling. I get it - you have an extreme case of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). It is so extreme that anything and everything must be done to block Trump from exercising any power his last two years in office. Otherwise, the world will come to an end during those two years.
I can't believe Ms. Nessel is the Attorney General of a state. I can't believe she is even an attorney, given her complete inability to engage in logical thinking. What about this, AG Nessel? The world does not end within the next two years, a Democrat wins in 2028, and reverses everything that Trump has done (G-d forbid). Trump has already been in office for nearly six years. Has the world ended? Where is your evidence that the world will end in the two years after this election if the Democrats don't take back the Senate? Before suggesting that the Jewish people need to cease to exist, did you consider any of the above? Did you consider any other scenarios?
Suggesting that the Jewish people need to cease to exist because of the need to support some leftwing candidate or cause, is beyond sick. It is evil. And it is the type of evil that the Jewish people have seen (from multiple nations and peoples) throughout our long history.
