The Jew Haters Keep Repeating The "Genocide" Lie

In the prior post, I mentioned how the DSA wants to prosecute Americans and Israelis for genocide.  I previously explained that genocide is not an applicable term for the war with Gaza, when the Gazan population has nearly doubled.  How is that a genocide?  I also discussed the hundreds of tons of food and medical supplies sent into Gaza by Israel during the war.  Who does that?  Who takes care of the civilian population like that if they are trying to annihilate them?

In much earlier posts, I discussed how the Israeli Defense Forces (the IDF) would warn people before dropping bombs.  They would drop leaflets from planes.  They would drop dud bombs on the roofs of buildings about to be bombed.  They would even make phone calls to warn people.  All of that would also give the Hamas terrorists a chance to escape, as they embed themselves in civilian homes, schools, medical facilities and mosques.  But that's what Israel would do.

I just recently watched an interesting talk by Federal Judge Roy Altman.  He discussed how the Israeli Military Advocate Generals (MAGS, but JAGS here) oversee Israeli military operations.  A pilot or drone operator may have located a Hamas target.  But if a MAG officer sees any chance that a civilian may be injured or killed, they prevent the operation from going forward.  Why would Israel have these MAGS if the goal was to eliminate the civilian population.

The Judge also discussed the High Level Military Group (HLMG), consisting of high level retired military officers from NATO countries and other democracies.  They comment on how armies conduct themselves in modern warfare, including in urban settings.  It turns out, that the HLMG actually submitted an amicus curiae brief (friend of the court brief) to the ICC on behalf of Israel.  They said there was no credible evidence of civilians being targeted, or civilians being starved by Israel.  Unsurprisingly, the known fact that Hamas uses civilians to protect their fighters, by hiding in schools, homes, hospitals and mosques, is ignored by those who simply want to find the Jews guilty of something.

The HLMG also argued that Israel did its best minimize civilian casualties, and to get humanitarian aid into Gaza.  The Judge also mentioned that there had been rumors of a polio outbreak in Gaza.  What did Israel do?  They sent vaccines and refrigeration equipment into a war zone, and even paused the fighting, to make sure that the children of Gaza got vaccinated.  Anyone think the Nazis would have cared about vaccinating Jewish children, knowing the intent was to kill them all.  If that is your intent, you don't care about vaccinations.

A look at AI says that the average civilian to combatant death ratio in modern urban warfare is 9 to 1.  In the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the ratio was estimated to be between 3 to 1 and 5 to 1.  In Gaza, Israel says the ratio is 1 to 1.5.  Even the anti-Israel sources have said 4 to 1, with the worst being 8 to 1.  In other words, all estimates are below the average.  That is not a very convincing argument for a genocide.

So, the lies about Israel committing a genocide will continue.  It was just repeated by Abdul Al-Sayed, the winner of the Michigan Democratic primary for the US Senate.  And, as more Leftists and Islamists win elections here, you will continue to hear those lies more frequently.  And others, like the Democrats, will use the lie to support their vote to cut off military aid to Israel.  Israel is fighting America's enemies.  We share the same enemies.  Doesn't matter.  And those like Mamdani will continue to press for the arrest and prosecution of Netanyahu.  But don't forget that the Democratic Socialists of America also advocate for the prosecution of Americans who they claim have supported Israel's so-called genocide.

The DSA And Their Supporters

The DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) has been running an increasing number of candidates for federal, state and local office.  They generally run as Democrats.  Others, not formal members of the DSA, are backed by them.  Google/AI says there are about 250 office holders nationwide who belong to the DSA.  I suspect countless more Democrat office holders support the DSA platform.

Megan Romer is the co-chair of the DSA and was recently interviewed on Fox.  Here is what she said the DSA positions are:  abolish the Senate, replace the presidency, replace the Supreme Court, abolish our borders and abolish our prisons.  Researching further into the DSA we see these positions:  expand the House and abolish the Senate.  Then have the House select the President and the Supreme Court.  And, no surprise, abolish the Pentagon.  This sound democratic to anyone?  Or does this sound like anarchy?  If there are no police, no prisons, no borders and no defense department, I would have to suggest that people buy as many guns as they can possibly afford.

But wait a minute.  Many Democrats oppose the private ownership of guns.  Will you still feel that way if there is no one else to defend you and your family?  But isn't this what Obama hoped for - a fundamental transformation of America.  Kamala Harris may again be the Democrat's nominee for President.  Is she on board with fundamentally transforming America?  She does want to "revisit the electoral college."  She has previously supported DC statehood, on the assumption that DC would give the Democrats an additional House seat and two more Senate seats.  If she believed Republicans would win in DC, I guarantee she would oppose DC statehood.  The same rationale now applies to her talking about statehood for Puerto Rico.

What does Harris think about the Supreme Court?  "We need to revisit the point of expanding the court to 13 justices like we have 13 district courts."  She's a little confused.  We have 94 federal district courts.  We do have 13 federal circuit courts of appeal.  She does not explain why the number of justices has to match up with the number of circuits.  But it should be clear.  The expansion would only occur if the Democrats won the House and the Senate and the presidency.  There is no way Harris or any other Democrat would be pushing for an expanded Supreme Court unless the Democrats controlled the  Congress and the presidency.  Then, they could pass legislation expanding the size of the Court and have the president sign it.  After that, they would nominate four leftwing people to sit on the high court.  At that point, they would probably stop talking about term limits for the justices.  The Republicans currently control the House, the Senate and the presidency.  Yet, I haven't seen them push for greater control over the Supreme Court.  Wasn't it the Republicans who are supposed to be the threat to our democracy?

I'm tempted to say that the Constitution prevents these radicals from doing whatever they want.  But I suggest we not underestimate them.  The Constitution sets up the Electoral College.  The Constitution sets up the Senate.  Getting rid of those institutions would require a constitutional amendment.  As would getting rid of the presidency as know it (the DSA plan).  I'm not sure how the Democrats would deal with Article V of the Constitution, which says that "no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate."  I suppose if there is there is no Senate, then each state having zero Senators would amount to equal suffrage.

The DSA also supports a "Free Palestine."  Of course.  And they want to prosecute both American and Israeli office holders for genocide.  Abdul El-Sayed is running to be the Democrat candidate for Senator from Michigan in today's primary.  Asked if he would support El-Sayed, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer gave the same answer as he did with regards to Graham Platner, who was forced out of the Maine Senate race.  Schumer:  "Bottom Line, we are going to win Michigan and take back the Senate and have a majority."  As for the DSA, Schumer said:  "Look, we are a big tent party, and being a big tent party is a strength, not a weakness."

I agree.  The Democrats are a big tent party.  They have plenty of room for America hating, Israel hating and Jew hating candidates.  Isn't that special?
